Englog is a computer software product being developed by PrimeArdour Systems Ltd. for the efficient administration of the electronic maintenance department of Broadcast and Production facilities.

PrimeArdour Systems software services include contract technical consulting and the development of flexible fully integrated client/server business software. PrimeArdour staff have extensive expertise in client server systems, particularly with Microsoft SQL server and Centura products.

PrimeArdour Systems is seeking expressions of interest from qualified vendors to co-operate in the development and marketing of maintenance management software for telecommunication and wider industrial applications.

Englog is a computer software product being developed by PrimeArdour Systems Ltd. for the efficient administration of the electronic maintenance department of Broadcast and Production facilities. Englog minimises maintenance costs by providing the engineering department with accurate machine history, spare parts inventory, capital equipment tracking and cost analysis. We are most interested in hearing from potential users particularly in the Video Post Production and TV field about features they would like to see included in the system. Fault & Repair Database

	Faults are entered by Engineering or operational staff
	Prints tickets to attach to equipment awaiting repair
	Details of repairs are record by Engineering.
	Status of repair is maintained by database whether Pending, complete or awaiting spares
	User may copy fault and repair details either from the Knowledge Base or duplicate records of previous repairs
	Maintains preventative maintenance records and accepts self test results from Sony's ISR (Interactive Status Reporting System)
	Records which Engineer made repair and the time and parts used.
	User Definable Inquiry System to produce custom reports
	Operating hours of equipment.
	Reports equipment downtime
	Sophisticated statistical analysis of VTR head performance. Records may be exported to Excel/Lotus format.
	Maintenance costs of all equipment can be analysed.

Preventative Maintenance Database

	Multi-level P.M. tracking of routine procedures
	User Definable Preventive Maintenance periods & procedures
	P.M. may scheduled by elapsed time and/or machine hours
	Equipment overdue for P.M. is highlighted
	Generates P.M. procedure checklists which can be user defined
	Machine hours are updated automatically if an interface to the Status monitoring System has been installed or alternatively the hand held terminal can extract this information from the VTR and update the database when returned to the cradle

Knowledge Base

	Stores common problems and solutions
	Solutions may be found by Manufacturer, Model or word search
	Prints solutions to common equipment problem
	Internet interface for Global Knowledge base

Asset Inventory Database

	Records Equipment Inventory by fixed asset number Equipment ID, Serial Number or Bar-code against location and user
	Reports Warranty Status, Purchase and Depreciation data
	Equipment which is on loan/hire or out for repair can be tracked.
	Financial data can be exported to Excel/Lotus or flat table format and performs on line updates to/from the (accounting system e.g. Sybiz Vision)
	Bar-coding of fixed assets
	Maintains Spare Parts Inventory by Part Number, Description & Location
	Generic Parts may be cross referenced to manufacturer part numbers to allow the use of Alternative Manufacturers
	Controls stock level and re-order quantity
	Generates and reads Manufacturer bar-codes of components
	Generates Purchase Orders /Requisitions
	Financial data can be exported to Excel/Lotus or flat table format and performs on line updates to/from the accounting system (e.g. Sybiz Vision).

Engineering Staff Database

	Shift Hand-Over notes are compiled in Englog and available for authorised users to read and edit
	Staff details will be recorded in contact database or user tables
	Contact Database
	Records contact names, addresses, notes, telephone & fax numbers etc
	Search contacts by Company, Name, Model, contact type e.g. Staff , Vendor/Manufacturer, Client or word search
	Prints shipping labels and delivery notes and update equipment inventory
	Automatic dialing of contacts
